A Leap of Divine Joy and A Look of Love: Advent Revealed Through Paintings

 

Sr Magdalen Lawler invites us to join her via Zoom for four reflection afternoons. Magdalen will lead us through a reflective time using scripture, paintings and poetry to explore the coming of the Saviour. Magdalen will also include some reflection songs by Tom McGuinness SJ to enrich the prayer time.

There will be time for prayer, for meeting and for sharing online. Magdalen Lawler SND is a Sister of Notre Dame living in London. She has a special interest in the relationship between spirituality and the visual arts. Her most recent publications include Christ Our Morning Star (The Art and Inspiration of Sieger Koder), Love Bade Me Welcome (Reflections on the Eucharist Four reflective Tuesday afternoon sessions via Zoom before Christmas with Sr Magdalen Lawler SND hosted by Drumalis Taking place on 22 November and 6, 13 & 20 December from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm
