The Preached Word – New App

 

The Irish Redemptorists have launched a brand new evangelisation platform (a mobile phone app) called ‘The Preached Word’ available for both iOS and Android devices.

Preaching is a foundational Redemptorist ministry and remains at the core of this new portal for evangelisation. ‘The Preached Word’ hosts high quality videos of Redemptorist preachers and ‘new voices’ who reflect on various aspects of the Church and mission in light of the Gospel. With so much of the Church’s mission and outreach shifting online during the Covid pandemic, the power of digital platforms was magnified. The internet is the core pillar of modern communication and mobile phones have now become the most important channel for internet access worldwide. The hope is that this platform will be a ‘go-to’ space that the public can log in and access in their own free time and at their own pace.
